Broadcasting Experience

From June 2021 to December 2023, Chelsea worked with the Grand Canyon University Athletics Broadcasting Department both in front of and behind the camera on live Broadcasts on ESPN+ for all of its Division I Sports.

From November 2023 to February 2024, Chelsea freelanced as a Play-by-Play commentator for The Signature Network covering high school basketball around the valley. While working for TSN, Chelsea was the voice of dozens of live broadcasts on YouTube that featured some of the best young talents Arizona has to offer, including GCU incoming freshman Styles Phipps and Team USA U17 member Koa Peat. 

Reporting Experience

Alongside broadcasting responsibilities for GCUTV, Chelsea has also appeared in multiple segments on GCU Athletics' social media pages. In these videos, Chelsea has interviewed students, athletes, coaches, professional athletes, and celebrities on campus at GCU. She's also reported on games and events relating to GCU Athletics.

Journalism Experience

Since June 2022, Chelsea has written articles and appeared in podcast episodes for WAC Hoops Nation, a website that discusses basketball news in the Western Athletic Conference. She also helped run the WHN Instagram Page and helped it quadruple its followers in just under 2 months.

In this position, Chelsea interacted with many different faces in D1 Basketball on a regular basis, including Coaches, media professionals, and more. 

Basketball Communications Experience

Since May 2023, Chelsea has worked for Basketball Communications for the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA. In this role, she interacts with media, players, players' families, and arena staff to ensure all game-day communications go as smoothly and clearly as possible. This includes work before, during, and after games at the media entrance, media seating, and in press conferences with players and coaches.
